Leading up to your appointment I recommend staying hydrated, and gently exfoliating the area, and keeping it moisturised in at least the week leading up to the tattoo.
On the day of the tattoo please make sure that you’ve eaten a big breakfast that is probably the best thing you can do for yourself. Bring along plenty of sugary snacks and drinks and lunch if you’re going to be in the shop for a while
Don’t go out drinking the night before, it can thin your blood and if your’e hungover its going to be way less pleasant for you.

I tend to price the piece rather than going by an hourly rate as it means you know what you’re paying and i’m not under any pressure to get things done quickly, I would much rather take my time with something so that we are both super happy with the outcome, plus I am terrible at gauging time!
That being said I do charge a day rate of £500 which is a six hour session, you can use a day session to get multiple smaller bits done at the same time and save money or start that big project you’ve been thinking about!
If you have a budget you need to work too please also let me now and we can figure out what is realistically achievable within your price range

Depending on the type of tattoo you’ve had done aftercare can differ slightly however as a general rule of thumb this is what I recommend;
Leave your tattoo wrapped until you get home for at least a couple of hours
Take of the clingfilm and give it a good wash under hot water using an unfragranced soap, something as natural as possible, get all the plasma, ink and vaseline off in the shower
Leave the tattoo to air dry after washing it or pat dry very gently with clean kitchen roll
Repeat the previous step twice a day for a week
I recommend letting your tattoo dry out for around 3 days before applying any healing cream, you wouldn’t rub cream in an open wound which is basically what a tattoo is
If you do choose to cream your tattoo after this time then I recommend using very small amounts of coconut oil, its naturally antibacterial. obviously if you’re allergic to coconuts don’t do this
Things to Avoid
for the first two weeks you need to be super careful with your fresh tattoo, avoiding things such as swimming, saunas, sunbeds, fake tan, heavy sweaty exercise, tight clothes, mud wrestling, and do not pick or scratch the scabs!

the longevity of the colour in your tattoo is mainly down to you, if you look after your tattoo well while its healing and keep it out of the sun and suncreamed when you cant keep it ou tof the sun then theres no reason why your colour tattoo shouldn’t stay bright and popping!

Of course! if I have done the tattoo for you i will do one free touch up, after that there will be a small charge, if i haven’t done the tattoo I am still happy to rework or touch up existing tattoos you aren’t happy with but it will be charged at the normal rate
